We had a lovely time out at Genesee Natural Area. The weather was warm, and the recent moisture did wonders for the mushroom population! We found a wide variety of interesting specimens. Waxy caps, Pigs ears, Russulas, etc.

Finds:

  • Agaricus spp
  • Gomphus clavatus – several patches
  • Ganoderma applanatum (Artist conk)
