A special day in the deep damp woods of Kananaskis as AMS is invited by Alberta Parks to collect some mushrooms and set up a display booth to take part in their Parks Day event. The ground was slippery and so were the Suillus. Many Slippery Jacks and Scaber Stalks were found for the hungry hunters and plenty a Mycena for the mini marvellers…
“Oh, yeah! that is also another Cortinarius!”
