It was my first foray at this grazing lease SW of Pigeon Lake. Four AMS members attended. Frogs and mosquitos were plentiful; mushrooms were varied, but not many edibles were found. It is more likely a sign of the odd mushrooming year we’re having vs an indication of poor terrain – we had mixed forest, with areas mowed down by cattle (also well-fertilized by said cows). The highlight of the foray was Rob Simpson finding an intact moose skull.
