Weather: Sunny, temperatures around 22-25 C. Conditions were very dry with a lack of adequate rainfall.

Easy pathways starting from Pine Top parking area. Mostly conifer / aspen mixed forest.  The group was split into 2 with one group following the pathway on the south side of and another group exploring the pathway on the north side of Sibbald Creek Trail (highway 68).
