August 16 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Natural Dye Bundle Dye Workshop
In this 2 hour workshop participants will explore eco-bundle dyeing and the art of infusing natural pigments onto fibers. Join fibre artist, Serah Hedin and share in the magical beauty of natural colour.
You will learn about the natural dye process from start to finish. Each student will create a unique bandana using natural dye stuff – steam, unroll and enjoy! While bundles steam, we will talk about natural dyes in our homes, gardens and local areas, as well as mushroom dyes.
Students are welcome to bring in their favorite flowers to explore using in the bundle. Each participant will leave with a pamphlet on natural dyeing and a bundle dyed bandana.
All ages, children should be accompanied by an adult. If an adult and child would like to make their own pieces please purchase two spaces. All materials included.
