Kevin is an award-winning filmmaker and wild food guide. His primary film project, From The Wild, has been nominated for two James Beard Foundation Awards, and is 12 seasons into a deep dive into the intersection of the wilderness and food/beverage. He also co-created Wild Harvest with Les Stroud and Paul Rogalski, a foraging and cooking show nominated for 3 Canadian Screen Awards, airing on PBS and National Geographic Asia.  In 2024 Kevin guided 50+ foraging walks, a foraging and fishing sea kayak expedition in Clayoquot sound and toured the province teaching wild edible plants. He teaches day camps about wild mixology, game butchery, and field cookery. He’s also the resident forager for RGE RD.
