DESCRIPTION:2026 Summer Solstice Feast WeekendFriday\, June 19th\, from 4 pm to Sunday\, June 21st @ 2 pm.  The Bergen Community Hall\n\n\n\nCamping:\n\nThere is plenty of space for camping without an electrical hookup – included in the ticket\nThere are 6 camping spots with electrical hookup (15 amp plugin) – $15/each\n\n\nFood Will Include:\n\nFriday – Hot Dogs and S’mores\nSaturday – Main Feast Entree\, including a safe (Vegan) option. Mushrooms will be prominently featured!! Please bring a ‘Potluck’ side to accompany the Main Feast (include a note with a list of ingredients)\nSunday – The First ‘Offspring BBQ Brunch’\n\nNote: We recommend you bring your own food and snacks for any additional meals (ie. breakfast). \n\nForay Schedule:\n\nFriday afternoon – Daylight Hunt\nFriday evening – Twilight Forage\nSaturday AM – Morning Foray\nSaturday PM – Afternoon Foray\nSunday AM – Morning Foray\n\n\nForay Areas:\n\nBergen Hall grounds – Grass and Trees\nRocky Mountains & Foothills (45 min drive to the mountains)\nNorth/South Cowboy trail\n\n\n\nA full proposed program will be posted closer to the event date.\n\n\n\nNOTE:\nCalgary to Bergen – 109 Km @ 1 hr. 24 mins\nEdmonton to Bergen – 263 Km @ 2 hr. 50 mins\nWe are offering a tour of the Fungi Akuafo facilities on Saturday morning. The facility is located just outside of Bergen and the tour will include the lab and incubation room\, and areas where mushrooms are grown outside. There is a limit of 10 people for the tour.
