DESCRIPTION:Curious about the AMS\, foraging and the world of mushrooms?\nLearn what mushrooms are\, where & how to find them\, and how to identify some tasty edibles!\nMeet other foragers\, both beginner and experienced / Buy a field guide to aid with fungal ID / Other mushroom merchandise also for sale.\n\nWater will be provided. Attendees may wish to bring snacks if desired. \nSchedule (approximate): \n10:00 am – 10:30 am     Doors open and socialize. \n10:30 am – Noon     Welcome and introduction to AMS\, Presentations on Mushrooms\, Foraging and other Important Information for the 2025 Season \nNoon –  12:30 pm    Free time for questions and socialization. \n12:30 pm – 1 pm     Tidy up meeting room \nDue to limited capacity\, this event is intended for registered AMS members only. \nPlease RSVP below \nEmail to cancel at: membership@albertamushrooms.ca
